Source Code Licenses

The majority of Haiku®’s own code is provided under the MIT license. However, numerous third-party code is included in the codebase. Many of the licenses are collected inside a few folders:

• /boot/system/data/licenses
• /boot/home/config/data/licenses

The licenses in /boot/system/data are viewable online in Haiku’s source code repository

Graphic Licenses

The HVIF icons included in Haiku’s source repository are provided under the MIT license and are free to re-use or modify in any way.

There are several graphical trademarks which are subject to the trademark policy.
